This week, Freeminds Foundation is excited to announce that we’re looking for passionate volunteers to help drive our mission forward. If you’re interested in making a real difference in your community, we invite you to apply for the role of Social Mobility Advocate!

 

About the Role

As a Social Mobility Advocate, you’ll be part of a dedicated team working to promote social mobility and create opportunities for individuals from all backgrounds. You’ll help us empower vulnerable communities through education, advocacy, and community outreach. Your involvement can play a key role in helping individuals achieve personal and professional growth.

How do we tackle the water crisis?

We work with local experts and community members to find the best sustainable solution in each place where we work, whether it’s a well, a piped system, a BioSand Filter, or a system for harvesting rainwater. And with every water point we fund, our partners coordinate sanitation and hygiene training, and establish a local Water Committee to help keep water flowing for years to come.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and Deliver Programs: Work with our team to create workshops focused on education, career development, and social empowerment.

  • Engage with the Community: Provide direct support and guidance to underserved communities, helping them access the resources they need to succeed.

  • Advocate for Diversity: Play an active role in promoting inclusion and equal opportunities within your local area.

  • Collaborate and Innovate: Partner with fellow volunteers and staff to design initiatives that foster upward mobility and address the challenges faced by disadvantaged groups.

  • Raise Awareness: Participate in outreach efforts to spread the word about Freeminds Foundation’s services and mission.

     

What We’re Looking For:

  • A passion for social justice, diversity, and inclusion.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work well with people from all walks of life.

  • Previous experience in community work or advocacy is a plus but not required.
